A young American woman, Vivian, discovers that her family are werewolves with a strict code of conduct and a territory in Bucharest, Romania. When her father is killed, she is torn between her desire to return to the United States and her pack's matriarchal traditions, which dictate she must marry the pack's heir to ensure its survival. She finds herself falling for the human hunter Aiden, creating a dangerous conflict between her werewolf nature and her burgeoning human desires.
