A successful obstetrician, Dr. Alina Reyes, is obsessed with the idea of reanimating the dead. When her young son dies, she embarks on a dangerous mission to bring him back to life. To achieve this, she secretly procures a newborn baby and uses it as a vessel for her son's consciousness, performing a macabre procedure.
