As the alien threat grows and isolates the station from the outside world, the remaining survivors must fight for their lives against their former colleagues and the encroaching alien menace.

While it tapped into the alien invasion and body horror subgenres, it failed to distinguish itself from more successful contemporary films. Audience reception was similarly lukewarm, with many finding it a forgettable entry in the genre.
