Sleeping Beauty

A princess, Aurora, is cursed by an evil fairy, Maleficent, to prick her finger on a spindle and fall into an enchanted sleep before her sixteenth birthday. Three good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, intervene and alter the curse so that true love's kiss will awaken her. To protect her, the fairies hide Aurora in the forest, raising her as a peasant girl named Briar Rose.
