In a future where a failed global-warming experiment has killed all life on Earth except for the passengers of the Snowpiercer, a train that perpetually circles the globe, a class struggle erupts. The remaining humans are divided by where they live on the train: the poor in the squalid tail section, and the elite in the luxurious front cars. Curtis, a hardened survivor, leads a rebellion to reach the engine of the train, aiming to take control and bring about a new order.
