Rod Kimble is a wannabe stuntman who dreams of one day being as cool as his idol, Dave Marsh. Living in a suburban town, Rod spends his days training and attempting ridiculous stunts with his friends, while facing constant ridicule from his stepfather. When his stepfather falls ill and requires a rare operation, Rod sees an opportunity to prove his bravery and earn the money for the surgery by performing a spectacular stunt.
