In 1920s China, Huo Yuanjia, a proud and undefeated martial arts master, lives a life of fame and fortune. After a devastating personal tragedy, he abandons his opulent lifestyle and seeks enlightenment in the solitude of the mountains. Upon his return, he dedicates himself to reviving his family's martial arts school and teaching the true essence of Kung Fu, challenging foreign fighters and promoting national pride.
