Eight years ago, Citadel fell. The independent global spy agency Citadel was destroyed by Manticore, a shadowy syndicate manipulating the world from the shadows. With Citadel's agents either dead or scattered, elite operatives Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh move through life, unaware of their shared past, until one day Mason is tracked down by his old Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick, who needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. Mason must reconnect with his former partner, Nadia, and together they embark on a global mission to stop Manticore, all while confronting a romance and a past that they couldn't control.
