Set in 1933, ten years after the events of The Mummy, Rick O'Connell and Evelyn O'Connell are married and have a son, Alex. They are drawn back into adventure when the dormant Scorpion King is awakened by an ancient bracelet, threatening to unleash the Army of Anubis upon the world. The couple must race against time to defeat the resurrected Imhotep and prevent the rise of the Scorpion King.
