Transit

In occupied Paris, Georg, a German refugee, assumes the identity of a dead writer to escape the city. He hopes to secure passage to America and reunite with his lover, Marie. However, he becomes entangled in the lives of other refugees and the remnants of the writer's past, including a mysterious woman and her son, and a watchful innkeeper.
