Caracas, 1955. Despite an environment of apparent economic prosperity, Venezuela is suffering the ravages of a harsh dictatorship. In this context, seven Sicilians are incriminated by the secret police of dictator Marcos Pérez Jiménez in an alleged plot against him. Risking his life, an Italian journalist deeply committed to his community, is on the trail of their disappearance, proving that, in difficult times, journalism is not exactly the best of professions, casting a critical and severe eye on those who, without measuring the consequences, came too close to the spheres of power of the dangerous system of a repressive regime.
