The Departed

In South Boston, a tough Irish mob boss has sent one of his crew, Colin Sullivan, to infiltrate the Massachusetts State Police. As Sullivan gains rank and becomes a trusted advisor to the government, he secretly feeds information to the mob. Meanwhile, the police department assigns an undercover officer, Billy Costigan, to pose as a mole within the mob. Both men become consumed by their double lives, leading to a dangerous cat-and-mouse game where they must uncover each other's identities before they are exposed.
