In 1907 New York, a charming but self-destructive bohemian artist named Guido Contini struggles to complete his latest film, drawing inspiration from the women in his life: his wife, his mistress, his muse, and his mother. As his career and personal life teeter on the brink of collapse, Guido confronts his past, his desires, and his creative block.
