IMF agent Ethan Hunt is brought out of retirement to track down a dangerous biological weapon called Chimera and its creator, Sean Ambrose. Ambrose, a former IMF agent himself, plans to unleash the virus upon the world unless he receives a hefty ransom. Hunt must race against time, employing his signature espionage skills and daring stunts to prevent a global catastrophe.
