An ex-alcoholic returns to his hometown after a ten year absence to confront his past. The film opens with 'Jimmy' the lead character played by Paul Nugent getting on a train to return home to Waterford, Ireland. On the train he becomes extremely anxious and starts to have a panic attack, eventually the train arrives in Waterford. Jimmy has to quickly get himself off the train. Jimmy then walks through the streets of Waterford, he eventually arrives to his destination. His old friend 'Francis' played by Tony Kelly eventually arrives, they catch up as they walk through Waterford. On their journey, they run into some a couple of people from their past, Dylan their old school friend who's now homeless played by Eoin Quinn and 'Sarah' an old girlfriend of Jimmy's played by Siobhan Dunne.
