Speed 2: Cruise Control

Two years after the events of Speed, Annie and Alex are on a Caribbean vacation. Unbeknownst to them, the cruise ship they are on has been hijacked by a disgruntled former employee of the ship's owner, who plans to overload the ship's systems and crash it into an island. Annie and Alex must race against time to stop the ship and save the passengers.

Speed 2: Cruise Control was met with overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics and audiences alike, widely considered a significant disappointment and a flawed successor to the original film. Its nonsensical plot, lack of connection to the first movie's premise, and over-the-top action sequences were heavily criticized.
