The year is 1572. A year after the burning of Moscow by the army of the Crimean Khanate, the enemy is on the way again. Now the goal of the Crimean Khan is the complete seizure of power in the Moscow state. The Russian army is stuck in battles on the western front, the Terrible Tsar is in Novgorod. Moscow is defended by a small army. To resist enslavement, the oprichniks detachments unite with the regular army. Having cunningly pulled the enemy horde of the Crimean Khan Devlet Giray away from Moscow, the squad, led by the voivodes Vorotynsky and Hvorostinin, takes the blow.
