An energised showcase of Yolngu culture, language + community, Dunganda Street Sounds brought together musicians living on + around Dunganda Crescent in Ramingining. With visual direction shaped by Jason Durrurranga + Michael Dawu, this proto-YouTube music video anthology sees boss men from Waak Waak Djungi guiding the next generations. Widely known across north-east Arnhem Land via its independent CD release, its film counterpart has rarely been seen in the years since + is shared here from project coordinator Allen Murphy’s digital archive.
