In a fictional Edo-period Japan, a young courtesan named Kiyoha is born into a life of servitude at the pleasure district of Yoshiwara. From a young age, she is groomed to be a high-ranking courtesan, destined to be sold to the highest bidder. Despite her difficult circumstances, Kiyoha possesses a rebellious spirit and a longing for freedom, which she expresses through her bold fashion choices and defiant attitude.
