In 1882, two free-grazing cowboys, Charley Waite and Boss Spearman, along with their young associate Button, travel across the American West. Their peaceful existence is threatened when they clash with a tyrannical rancher who controls the nearest town and enforces his power through a ruthless sheriff. The conflict escalates, forcing the cowboys to confront the injustice and fight for their freedom and the safety of others.
