Second Chorus

Two struggling jazz musicians, Danny and Hank, are best friends and rivals for the affections of Ellen, their band's singer. Danny often uses Hank's musical arrangements to impress Ellen, leading to comedic misunderstandings and professional friction. Their friendly competition escalates when they both vie for a spot in the prestigious band of Artie Shaw, and simultaneously try to win Ellen's heart.
