The Rock

A group of heavily armed U.S. Marines, led by a rogue general, take hostages on Alcatraz Island and threaten San Francisco with biochemical weapons. A mild-mannered chemical weapons expert, Stanley Goodspeed, and a British ex-con, John Mason, are sent in to infiltrate the island and disarm the warheads before the situation escalates into a catastrophe.
