Murder 101

A British writer, Peter Krasnik, is on the run from his publisher and finds himself in a small, eccentric town where a murder has occurred. He becomes entangled in the investigation, partly due to his own suspicious circumstances and partly because of the local police chief's suspicions. As he tries to clear his name and escape his troubles, he uncovers more secrets about the town and the victim.

Murder 101 was a made-for-television movie that garnered mild attention for its quirky premise and lead performance. While not a critical darling, it was seen as a reasonably entertaining mystery-comedy that provided a lighthearted diversion.
