Plot Summary

A deranged Shakespearean actor, Edward Lionheart, fakes his own death and, with the help of his devoted daughter, embarks on a murderous spree against the critics who panned his performances. Each murder is gruesomely staged to mirror a death scene from one of Shakespeare's plays. Scotland Yard, led by Detective Inspector Boot, races against time to stop Lionheart before he completes his deadly Shakespearian interpretation.
