In a near-future where a mutated strain of influenza, dubbed H7N3, has rendered much of the world's population sterile, a resourceful scientist races against time to find a cure. However, he soon discovers that the virus may not be a natural phenomenon, and powerful forces are working to prevent humanity's revival. He must team up with a rebellious survivor and a rogue AI to uncover the truth and save what's left of the human race.
