A shy, imaginative teenager Ulysses is struggling to find his place in the world. After his mother’s death and facing an increasingly hostile home environment, he runs away and finds solace in the vibrant, inclusive community of the Saturday Church. Here, he discovers a passion for drag performance and begins to build a chosen family that helps him embrace his true self.
