The series tells the story of Emma Swan, a bail bonds enforcement officer who discovers on her 28th birthday that she is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. She is the Savior, destined to break a curse placed on the fairy tale characters by the Evil Queen. Transported to the land of Storybrooke, Maine, where fairy tale characters live without their memories, Emma must learn to embrace her destiny to save them from the curse.
