Valeria works at a laboratory in the Soviet Union in 1984 that studies parapsychological phenomena. Her former lover, Nazım, invites her to Turkey to investigate a mysterious case. Valeria goes to Nalbant Village in Azdavay to investigate Nazife Hanım, whom the locals call "Cinli Nazife," and soon begins her research there. However, Valeria suddenly disappears. Meanwhile, Nazife Hanım has suffered a stroke, and Nazım has gone mad. Thirty years pass. Ceyda, a pregnant woman, comes to this old village with her husband and child, which her grandmother had abandoned at the time. As the young woman's labor pains begin, the dark secrets of the past will also begin to unfold.
