After Joko's death, Sulis and Jiman left the house and returned to the village. Feeling dirty, Sulis finally decided to commit suicide. The death of his two children made Sukatmini shaken and finally unable to survive and died in her thoughts. Jiman was left alone because of the cruelty of a man who had once pleased him. Jiman's heart was filled with revenge. He also devised a plan of revenge. Jiman felt it was right to ask for penance. All of this happened when Roni Danuatmaja's family vacationed in a quite remote villa.
