In a violent, futuristic metropolis called Mega-City One, law enforcement officers known as Judges have the authority to act as judge, jury, and executioner. Judge Dredd, a hardened veteran, is tasked with training a rookie, Cassandra Anderson, who has psychic abilities. Their patrol takes a dark turn when they are sent to investigate a murder in a densely populated, crime-ridden apartment block known as Peach Tree. The block is controlled by ruthless drug lord Ma-Ma and her violent gang, who trap Dredd and Anderson inside, forcing them to fight their way out against overwhelming odds.
