Malcolm is a geeky but aspiring rapper living in Inglewood, California. He and his friends, Jib and Diggy, are obsessed with 90s hip-hop culture and dream of escaping their tough neighborhood. Their lives take an unexpected turn when a drug deal goes wrong, thrusting Malcolm into a world of gangsters, hustlers, and online personalities he never imagined.
