In a near-future Miami where rising sea levels have submerged much of the city, a private investigator named Nick Bannister uses a technology that allows people to relive their most cherished memories. When a mysterious client named Mae disappears, Nick becomes obsessed with finding her, delving into a dangerous labyrinth of fragmented recollections and uncovering a conspiracy that blurs the lines between past and present, reality and illusion.
