A young boy named Cyril lives in a drab orphanage after his father abandons him. Driven by a desperate need to reconnect with his father, Cyril embarks on a quest to find him, often making impulsive and dangerous decisions. He eventually falls under the wing of a local gangster who offers him a seemingly lucrative but morally compromising path.
