Brighton Rock

In 1960s Brighton, a young, ambitious gangster named Pinkie Brown is determined to rise through the ranks of the local crime syndicate. His ruthless pursuit of power leads him to murder a rival, but when a waitress named Rose witnesses the crime, Pinkie is forced to marry her to silence her. As his paranoia grows and his actions become increasingly desperate, Pinkie finds himself trapped in a web of his own making, with the long arm of the law, led by the formidable detective Ida Arnold, closing in.
