An elegant social melodrama. Apostolos (Souglakos) is a former wrestler who has retired from the ring and opened a gym. He has no one in the world except his alcoholic friend (Christos Natsios), who has suicidal tendencies. He falls in love with the sister (Mary Alyfanti) of a young athlete, and his life changes. But when she is raped and the young athlete is kidnapped, he decides to fight one more match in order to raise money. Souglakos as the new "Rocky" in yet another attempt to remake the classic film, "The Bums" (1984). Here, violence and sex are sidelined and emphasis is placed on the dramatic and social elements.
