A down-on-his-luck inventor is struggling to make ends meet and has fallen behind on payments to his landlord and to the mob. He has to come up with the money within 30 days or his life will be over. So he resorts to an illegal operation to get the money, and the mob, along with the cops, are on his tail. He is faced with a choice: continue to live in a life of crime or get back on the right path.
