The Host

In a future where Earth is inhabited by soul-eating aliens known as 'Souls,' Melanie Stryder is captured and her body is invaded by a Soul named Wanderer. However, Melanie's consciousness survives within Wanderer, leading to a fractured identity. As Wanderer is compelled to hunt down the remaining human survivors, she finds herself drawn to a man named Jared, who was once Melanie's lover, creating a dangerous conflict between her human memories and alien directives.
