Ebba, a successful food chemist, has a terrible dream in which she gives birth to a healthy bear cub. For her, this is a sign from fate that something is wrong in her life. They go on a short trip to the Baltic Sea with a couple they know. Ebba discovers Arne's little circus on the beach.
