Eight years ago, Citadel fell. The independent global spy agency, tasked with safeguarding the safety of all, was destroyed by operatives of the Manticore syndicate. With their memories wiped, Citadel agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh went their separate ways, living a life oblivious to their past. However, Mason is eventually found by his former colleague, Bernard Orlick, who implores him to remember his past and reconnect with Nadia to stop Manticore from establishing a new world order.
