The Last Heretic

Nora, a Korean-Canadian playwright living in New York, is visited by her childhood sweetheart, Hae Sung, who is back in the city for a week. Twenty years after they were separated when Nora's family emigrated from South Korea, they reconnect and explore their past, their present circumstances, and the unspoken 'what ifs' of their lives. The reunion forces Nora to confront her identity, her ambitions, and the two different lives she has lived.
