Plot Summary

In 1820s California, a aging Zorro, Don Diego de la Vega, is imprisoned for twenty years. Upon his escape, he finds a new, eager student in the charismatic bandit Alejandro Murrieta to carry on his legacy and fight against the corrupt governor Don Rafael Montero. As Alejandro trains to become the new Zorro, he must not only master swordsmanship but also navigate his growing feelings for Elena, Montero's beautiful and fiery adopted daughter, who is unaware of her father's villainy.
