Shrek the Third

When King Harold falls ill, Shrek learns he is the heir to the throne of Far Far Away. Reluctantly, Shrek sets out on another adventure to find the one true heir, Arthur Pendragon, and bring him back to rule the kingdom. Meanwhile, Prince Charming rallies the fairy tale villains to stage a coup and take over the kingdom.

Shrek the Third was met with generally mixed to negative reviews from critics and audiences. While the animation and voice acting were praised, many found the plot to be uninspired and the humor to be less effective than its predecessors.
