Brandon, a 15-year-old boy living in Richmond, California, dreams of fitting in and earning respect in his neighborhood. When he acquires a pair of coveted Air Jordan sneakers, they become a symbol of his aspirations. However, the shoes are stolen by a local gangster, forcing Brandon on a dangerous quest with his friends to retrieve them and reclaim his sense of self-worth.
