The Lovely Boners

In 1973, 14-year-old Susie Salmon is lured into a trap and murdered by her neighbor, George Harvey. She finds herself in a heaven-like place where she can observe the living world, unable to interact with it. Susie watches as her family grieves and detectives investigate, while also seeing her killer continue his life. She must come to terms with her death and find a way to help her loved ones heal.
