Although the Romans believe they have conquered all of Germania, a village in the mountain valley continues to resist the empire as long as Caesar's daughter remains married to the local chieftain. One day, when Dogmatix is supposed to accompany this woman to the baths, a group of renegade legionaries manages to send her over the Jordan and conscript him into their own army. As a result, the unexpected giant finds himself in dangerous tiger country, where a legendary time tree is said to be located. By means of this magical botany he undertakes an unbelievable journey, perhaps to be able to set everything right again!
