In the year 2009, wealthy individuals from the future travel back to 1991 to steal bodies of people about to die, to inhabit their younger, healthier forms. A former race car driver, Alex Furlong, is targeted. He must evade capture by the time-traveling bounty hunters, led by the ruthless Vacendak, and also uncover the conspiracy behind their mission.

Freejack was met with generally negative reviews from critics, who often cited its convoluted plot and uninspired action sequences.
