Biography
Janet Mason is an American adult film actress and professional escort, and a former fitness model. Born in Santa Barbara, she grew up in Roswell, Georgia. She met her future husband, Steve, while they were both in college; he was in grad school and she was an undergrad. He was already a swinger at that time; they waited until their first-born child was in kindergarten to participate in the swinging lifestyle as a couple. They both enjoyed it so much that they began to make videos for sale, leading to the establishment of Janet's own amateur adult website in April 1998, with Steve as cameraman and webmaster (they also own and operate what they consider their “primary” non-adult business together). She made her profession adult debut in 2000. Today, she has become one of the most recognizable “mature” actresses active in the industry, known for her "MILF" shoots, as well as her "girl-on-girl" and straight "hardcore" shoots, particularly her interracial scenes. Janet has also been a fitness aficionado since high school, competing in numerous half and full marathons, cycling events and triathlons. In 2010, she began competing in physique events under the names “Paige McFarland” and “Leigh Tolbert”, placing in the National Physique Committee Dexter Jackson Classic and winning the 2011 Vitrix Model Team contest as McFarland, and placing in the National Physique Committee Atlantic States Championship 2011 as Tolbert. On July 5, 2012, she announced on her blog that she would no longer be participating in fitness competitions, or pursuing fitness modeling, because she found the regimen “too restrictive and binding on (her) lifestyle”. Currently residing in Boca Raton, Florida, she works as a professional escort in Florida and on tours of the US, in addition to her adult film career.
