Gospel singer. A printer's mistake on her first album changed her last name from Patty to Patti, and the name stuck. Attended San Diego State University and Anderson College in Indiana. Is the highest paid Gospel entertainer in the world, averaging $75,000 for a two-hour performance. Was briefly ostracized by the Christian music industry when she admitted to having an affair while married to her first husband.
