Biography
Dmitri Boudrin is an actor, teacher and producer. Born in Leningrad, RSFSR, USSR. In 1989 he graduated from the Shchukin Higher Theatre School. He played at the Vakhtangov Theatre and the Oleg Tabakov Theatre Studio. Since 1992 he has lived and worked in the USA. In 1997 he graduated from the producing department of the University of California, Los Angeles. He has been a producer and director in more than 75 Canadian and American projects. He played 70 roles in Hollywood films and TV series, including Cast Away, The X-Files, Lost, The Bloodhound and others. Since 1998 he was invited to teach at the Michael Chekhov Actors Studio in Los Angeles (Michael Chekhov Studio USA West), and successfully worked there until 2008. Currently, he is a teacher of acting and history of acting techniques at the acting school "Stella Adler Studio Los Angeles". Since 2001, he has been the founder and artistic director of the international organization "American-Russian Theater Alliance", which is engaged in the development of educational international programs and joint television and film projects with the USA and Canada.
