She debuted on television as the protagonist Clara in Fascinação (1998), standing out throughout her career for her antagonists, such as Lili from Meu Pé de Laranja Lima (1998), Clara from Laços de Família (2000), Dóris from Mulheres Apaixonadas ( 2003), Alice from Páginas da Vida (2006) and Mariacarla from O Tempo Não Para (2018). She returned to her parents' house in Santo André , but after three months she decided to live alone in São Paulo . She chose to stop studying Social Communication, which was closed, and started studying Advertising , but she did not complete the course, and continued on the theater course to try to get into a soap opera one day. At that time, she was already traveling around the country acting in plays. [ 6 ] In 1998, Regiane passed a test, and made her first soap opera , Fascinação , with a starring role, on SBT . She was highly praised, convincing television critics that she could do other soap operas and would have chances for growth.
